Völkermord is a North American WAR Destruction guild on Ungrim Server. Comprised primarily of Closed Beta and Elder Beta testers, we are dedicated to becoming an RvR powerhouse as well as a noted leader in PvE. The core members of Völkermord have MMO roots going back to EQ, FFXI, UO and beyond. In addition, some of us have experienced the Warhammer world for many years through video and tabletop games. We are all excited about WAR's arrival and dedicated to all aspects of the game. We want our guild to be strong, our members to be happy and everyone to have a good time... through the slaughter of those who oppose us!
Völkermord's motto is simple: the guild comes first. In order to ensure we reach and exceed our goals as a guild, it's up to every member to be aware of this and be ruthless in it's execution.
Volkermord officially cleared Bilerot last night. Surprisingly enough, the only difficulty was with The Bile Lord, who liked to randomly reset when he got to around 50% health... but despite his exploits, he still ended up forking over a Sentinal marauder chest.
And I seem to be a bit camera shy
We look forward to clearing Lost Vale shortly... we already have a few tanks with 3+ pieces of Sentinal... and one jerk Marauder with 5. *cough*Erebus*cough*
In Roman times, the Alamanni were an alliance of germanic tribes who banded together to fight against the powerful Roman Empire. In a similar fashion, the two highest ranking Destruction guilds on Ungrim, <Volkermord> and <Twist of Fate> have united to bring the battle to the forces of Order, and raze Altdorf to the groud.
It took longer to get here than we would have liked (hour long queues 4tw), but at last we arrive en masse in T4, as yesterday we organized a VK warband and rampaged through the last remaining pockets of resistance in the unlocked T4 zones: the keeps.

As seems to be the pattern, we began in Greenskins before proceeding to Chaos and finally to Dark Elf. Grats to everyone who was able to participate in another server first:
And of course we have to special mention Dragoness<Pak'Cafan> for her valuable contribution of unadulterated DPS throughout the night.
Of course, there just isn't a high enough population to spill the required victory points and unlock the next set of zones for capture, but rest assured, Altdorf; we will be knocking at your gates soon enough.
Tonight at 5pm est, Volkermord stormed into T3 and Black Fire Pass to take through force of arms what is rightfully ours: EVERYTHING. A VK-only warband ran the gauntlet of blackfire pass to capture both battlefield objectives and hammered down the gates of Gnol Baraz, steamrolling what little resistance was offered in what is believed to be yet another server first.
Though other non-guilded players were offered the chance to be a part of this momentous occasion, fear or doubt held them back, keeping them within the peaceful confines on the PvE questing areas.
A special mention to Shaman Kavu, for his heroic actions and amazing abilities as he tagged along for shits and giggles at the lowly level of 11. Perhaps even more amazing, the highest level present in the WB was a mere 24. Congratulations on a job well done.
Volkermord is pround to announce being the first guild (unconfirmed) on Ungrim server to successfully organize and capture a keep! But we didn't stop there! We took EVERY Order Controlled T2 Keep On Monday night (9-15-08, about 9:00 or so) with less than a full warband at each capture (levels ranged from 8 to 16). As of this writing, Order has still not taken back any of them. It's a shame the guild has not reached the rank required to claim one, but nonetheless a job well done.
Credit where credit is due: Volkermord may have run the warband and contributed 17 of its members, but during the hour or so it took to take all three keeps we had some quality help along the way. I'd like to make sure to mention the invaluable contribution made by <The Schism> guild, for having members present in the warband at each capture! Thanks guys you were great!
